Some discomfort is normal, especially for first-time waxes, but our skilled technicians use gentle wax and calming techniques. Taking a mild pain reliever 30 to 60 minutes beforehand and practicing deep breathing can greatly reduce sensitivity.

Arrive with at least a quarter inch of hair growth, clean dry skin, and avoid heavy lotions. We'll consult about allergies or medications to ensure safe, effective waxing and recommend any necessary patch testing.

Yes in many cases — we assess sensitive skin and common conditions during consultation. We can use hypoallergenic waxes, perform patch tests, or advise against waxing if active dermatitis, open wounds, or certain medications are present.

Avoid hot baths, sun exposure, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Apply a soothing aloe or antibacterial lotion, exfoliate gently after 48 to 72 hours, and keep skin moisturized to maintain softness and prevent ingrown hairs.

Ideally hair should be about a quarter inch (approximately six millimetres) long so the wax can grip securely. If too short you'll need to wait; if too long we trim slightly for comfort and effectiveness.
